Dia-Treaties® along with insulin: May Be The New Protocol for Treating Diabetic Dogs
Dia-Treaties® usage statement
Please use under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. A blood glucose monitoring kit is recommended. Dia-Treaties may enhance the insulin's uptake and your pet may experience a low blood sugar reading requiring you to lower insulin amounts given. The signs of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can be as follows: lethargy, loss of balance, trouble walking and confusion to mention a few. One should consult your veterinarian immediately. If you have a diabetic dog, you should have a glucose-increasing food (syrup, sugar, etc.) available should you experience a low blood sugar event. Low blood sugar is very dangerous and potentially fatal. Dia-Treaties administration in conjunction with insulin and is a process to work through. Once the optimal insulin dosage along with the proper number of treats (see box for dosage), has been established, clients experienced the need to decrease the insulin dosage in the range of 15% to 67%. In the first 3 days to 4 weeks, it is especially important to monitor the blood glucose carefully with your veterinarian and/or a blood glucose meter. Dia-Treaties is not a cure for diabetes. However, once the correct amount of insulin and Dia-Treaties is established, your dog will enjoy a happy, stable, normal life for many years to come.*

Watson has been taking 2 Diatreaties since July. He has Cushings disease and in on medication for that. He had some bad days in August and again in early September. He had an infection in his hocks that was really bad. I was sure we were losing him. He was on antibiotics and pain pills for a time and he did get better. Now he is acting like my Scottie, Watson and I do believe much of that is because of the Diatreaties. He has lost a lot of his fur, mostly on his underbelly, the tip of his tail, and inside his hind legs. Would the product that you sell for an improved coat help him? Can both products be taken every day.?

Our diabetic dog Jack, willingly takes his insulin shot to get to this treat. The treat is helping to keep his insulin stable. Service at Vintek is always prompt and courteous.

My dog's sugar levels are staying low with the diatreaties. So they must be helping. Thank you diatreaties!

I recommend this product to anyone who has a diabetic animal. Fritz, my doxie came down with diabetes as well as pancreatitis at the same time. The vet said if it were his dog he would "put him down". I knew that this would not be happening if there were not help somewhere, so that night we checked online and came across this product. We were looking for anything and everything that was all natural and worked! We read the reviews and the ingredients and said, "This is the product". Fritz came home 4 days later very ill and we started the dia-treaties that day. Within 7 days, when we returned for his next check up, his blood sugar level went from 398 to 220. It was amazing! We have continued using the dia-treaties and Fritz is doing great. His levels are around 120. I know this has everything to do with the dia-treaties. The vet was amazed and still is amazed with Fritz's health. It has been 4 years, and all though he lost his vision, his levels have mellowed and he looks forward every breakfast and dinner for his dia-treaties! Thank you guys!

We found out our 6 month old puppy had diabetes a year ago. She began getting 15 units of insulin twice a day which increased to 20 units by the time she was 8 months. A few months later two friends called us about an article they had read in a magazine about a product called Dia - Treaties which claimed to decrease the amount of daily insulin units. We researched the product and of course, consulted with our vet before ordering our first bag. We gave our pup two biscuits after each meal/insulin shot. She licked them up! Plus! To our amazement her daily insulin units have dropped from 20 to 17 to 14 twice a day! Our 18 month dog is full of energy with a healthy coat and appetite.

Boo Boo was very sick and near death. After a few weeks with the treats he has recovered completely. I can't say enough how great this product is. Keep up the great work.

These treats work greatly for helping to keep Jack's insulin stabilized. This shipment was delivered with no damage but, the shipment before that looked like the box had been run over with a car with tread marks across the box which was smashed open. Fortunately, the way the treats bag was wrapped in an insulated covering, the treats bag was not busted open. Some of the treats had to be manually parted but the treats still worked as before.

after introduction of Diatreaties. Before he was very sick to the point of sometimes not wanting to eat. He is now doing very well, happy and full of energy. I don't think it's a coincidence.

I have ordered 3 or more times now and although I can not yet fully rate how effective the product is, I can speak to the shipping/ receiving. My dog's weight seems to have stabilized and the excessive water drinking has ended...all good things. My first order arrived very broken, but luckily there were about a dozen formed treats so I could roll the others into the approximate amount I thought my dog was supposed to get. My second order was also very broken ( not really your fault probably) but also did not have the silver-looking foil cover over it, so that one was very dry and shook around into lots of broken pieces in the box. My third order arrived with the foil and a little ice pack and the treats were in very good shape when I received them and not all dry and broken.
Thanks for the feedback Jen. The issues with the product production are known and fixed. The main thing is that your dog is getting better. Our product is difficult to make and the place that produces it for us now knows what needs to be done for the optimal product. Thanks for your patience and for being a customer.
